PRESIDENT:  ANTHONY GAGLIANO
Anthony Gagliano is the Assistant Director of Business Services for the Suncoast Workforce. During his nearly four years on the Business Services team, Anthony has focused primarily on training programs such as Employed Worker Training and On-the-Job Training as well as recruiting for businesses in Manatee and Sarasota counties. Prior to joining Suncoast Workforce in 2009, Anthony spent 2 ½ years on staff at the East County Observer in Bradenton, Florida, covering sports and news for a weekly community newspaper. Anthony is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism-News Editorial. His writing has appeared in the Tampa Bay Times, Tampa Tribune, Bradenton Herald, the Valdosta Daily Times, Volleyball magazine and online at MLB.com.

SECRETARY/ARCHIVIST: HILDA BRAVO-TORRES
Hilda Bravo Torres is President of Bravo Immigration Services, Inc., a business dedicated to helping the community and those individuals with issues including but, not limited to, immigration, marriage, divorce and taxes. Ms. Torres is a graduate of the Manatee Technical College Drafting program. Following many years working in the industrial setting as a draftsman alongside engineers and managers she was given an opportunity to work in the customer service department and learn the business aspects of these organizations. From here Ms. Torres transitioned to the legal arena and was offered a position with a charitable organization that offered various Immigration services to the Hispanic community and then moved on to a law firm as their Immigration Specialist. With the help of her family she opened Bravo’s Immigration Assistance, Inc in 2008. After four years her business has doubled the number of people she is able to assist. Ms. Torres is a Founding Member of the MTC Alumni Association and serves as its secretary as well as a member of the Communications Committee.

MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE: ROSEMARY WILEY​​
Community Leader, Manatee County, currently serving as Interim Administrator and Director of Community Development for Suncoast Community Capital, Rosie was Project Leader for  Volunteer Services of Manatee County where she led the local AmeriCorps 20/20 VISTA Vision Project, placing 40 national service volunteers in 25 non-profit, religious-based and governmental organizations to develop initiatives to move people out of poverty as well as serving as After-School Alliance Initiative Coordinator and AmeriCorps Promise Fellow. Her other professional accomplishments include Special Events Coordinator for Boys and Girls Clubs of Manatee County, Compliance Officer for Meridian PEO and Agency Director for First Call for Help. She received her liberal arts education from Manatee Community College.

BRIDGETTE HALLIBURTON
​Bridgette Halliburton manages her family's rental property and land acquisition business and is an Academic Coach for the Bridges to Careers Program, a job readiness initiative founded by CareerEdge Funders Collaborative. After earning a B.S. degree in Finance from New York University, Bridgette was employed by Equifax Credit Bureau and Profit Recovery Group, both in Atlanta. Upon her return to Florida she became an AmeriCorps VISTA working with agencies and programs such as Florida KidCare Health Insurance, United Way, Planned Parenthood, FL Department of Health, Manatee County Government, Bradenton CCRA. Bridgette volunteers as a Client Caseworker Lead and Community Safety Education Teacher with the American Red Cross. She is also on the Boards of Realize Bradenton, the Manatee Historical Commission and ArtCenter Manatee. ​
JORMARIE MERE-BEARMAN
​
Jormarie Mere-Beaman is Completion and In-Placement Coordinator at Manatee Technical College.  A graduate of Manatee High School she earned a BA from the University of South Florida and a Masters in Educational Leadership from National-Louis University. Certified in Spanish (K-12), Educational Leadership (All Levels) and Family and Consumer Science (6-12) Ms. Mere-Beaman began her career as an ESOL teacher for MTC in 2001. In Jan 2002, she began teaching Spanish full time at Manatee High School.  Ms. Mere-Beaman became Lead Teacher at a charter school in 2004 where she served as their Testing and ESOL coordinator. In these roles she developed a number of programs including the Spanish curriculum. Currently Ms. Mere-Beaman is a member of the Manatee Chamber of Commerce’s Green Business Initiative Committee, the Co-chair for the Manatee School Board’s Minority Leadership Recruitment Task Force and the EdVantage Ambassador for MTC.  Prior to her life as an educator Ms. Mere-Beaman worked in the restaurant, mortgage and legal industries and at one time owned and operated a Café and catering business. She is a Founding Member of the MTC Alumni Association and serves on its Membership Committee.
​MARY CHILTON

VIRGINIA SIROCKY
​
Ms. Sirocky is president and owner of Boston-based VLS Associates, an international marketing and business development consultancy offering services to Fortune 100 corporations as well as educational, philanthropic and civic organizations. Prior to establishing her own business Ms. Sirocky held positions as vice president of sales as well as marketing management in the international printing, publishing, telecommunications  and high technology industries. Her career began in public relations and program production for educational television. She also serves on a number of Boards of her alma mater, The Pennsylvania State University, including its Alumni Council, Past President of its College of Communications Board of Directors, the Board of Visitors, and the Carnegie Society and is Past President of its Greater Boston Alumni Chapter. While serving as a member of Volunteers in Service to America (VISTA) in Manatee County she was invited to create the MTC Alumni Association.
